Vision:
We, as the body of Christ, have a mandate to continue the ministry of the Lord Jesus, to lost and hurting humanity. Through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we are enabled to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the broken hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, set at liberty those who are oppressed and proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19).
This is the heart and vision of the Jail Ministry here at Covenant Love Family Church. We will work in concert with volunteers from other local churches to meet the spiritual needs of those who are incarcerated.
Our Goal:
It is the goal and desire of CLFC to have an eternal impact in the lives of men and women who are imprisoned physically and spiritually. God has raised up this local assembly to bring the life-changing message of Jesus Christ into every sector of society.
Unfortunately, those who have been incarcerated are often overlooked, and as a result, forgotten! But, they are included in the great commission Jesus has given the church.
Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age. - Matthew 28:19-20.
It is our goal, to see lives radically changed through the power of God, and to make disciples of the Lord Jesus who will in turn disciple others.
