Poa Village, Dano, Burkina Faso,
West Africa
"This church was birthed with a small group of believers and is located in the midst of the jungle and is made up of farmers who fled from the North in search of agricultural land. Burkina Faso is a dry, dusty, savannah land with only a four month rainy season each year."
"Living in this village was a diviner who predicted the future by divinations. One day a group of people were in a small boat which overturned and threw all the people into the water except one. . .a born-again Christian! When the diviner saw this, it made him realize that the God of the Christian was more powerful than his many gods, so he cried and gave his heart to the Lord!"
"The Lord is doing wonderful things in this village and this congregation which now numbers more than 130 dedicated believers! Many of the members were saved due to miracles of healing when prayed for in Jesus' name."

Dumbraveni, Suceava, Romania

Dumbravehi Pentecostal Church had been dedicated in a very triumphant way to shout a victory for Christ the Lord. All the buildings work is being done by the church members and even other Christian buildings teams from other churches. That meant lot of sacrifice in a time when all life in Romania is on the brim of survival and food on the table is scarce to provide, yet when they do something for the Lord, they do with all of their heart, and give their very best of the most to the Lord.
Recently, over 40 converts were water baptized after a series of evangelistic services here in the new building. Since they started to build up about 750 new souls were converted not transferred and added to the church. The church membership is now to about 900 people who truly are serving the Lord of the harvest. The miracles wonders are also present and powerful to all of the church services, people are getting healed of various diseases and terminal as cancer. The whole town knows about this church and was told the story of Christ at least twice. The church and its pastor are prayerful with thanksgiving for the CFN_HCP sponsor of providing a strong lasting roof for them of the house of the Lord!

Xinitcle, San Francisco,
San Luis Potasi, Mexico
I am happy to send you a color picture of your church at Xinitcle San Francisco, Tamazunchale, S.L.P. Mexico. Since the church is on a hill, it wasn't possible to get a good picture, but at least you can see part of the congregation and the concrete roof that will last them for many years. It is the largest building in the town. 85 percent of the village identifies with the Gospel message and even the remaining Catholics came to help the believers roof their church and brought them food as they worked.
They have opened up some three or more missions: one in Tamala, another in Las Cuevas, a third one at Tancuilin, and other adjoining ranches. Seldom does a mother church remain without daughter churches in this land... I knew one mother church that had 200 daughter churches.
Please accept the sincere thanks of the pastor and congregation for your expression of love toward them in their hour of need... they are praying for you and I know that God has already blessed you for having shared and will continue to bless.
Pray much for Mexico as it is the hour of harvest in this nation of great contrast.

Sirembe F.G.C.K. Bondo, East Africa

"This church was birthed first by worshipping under a tree. Soon after they graduated to a grass thatched hut to worship in. We had 16 believers."
"After much prayer God answered their need for a plot of land purchased by the members. They began door-to-door evangelism, home crusades, working with people in their fields. They were able to open a nursery school and start a branch church in a neighboring village. THIS church has grown to over 76 members and nearly 100 children!"
"Souls will be saved and believers edified because YOU permitted the Holy Spirit to direct you in your giving."

Siocon, Philippines

"The Philippine Islands are located in Southeastern Asia and are known as the Pearl of the Orient Seas. The Philippines was once called a showcase of democracy until Ferdinand Marcos led the nation into political turmoil."
"This new church building was started in Feb 2000. We currently have 123 members. Twenty were just baptized in water and the Lord has been healing the sick. A woman was recently healed from cancer, a little boy from a cyst and many suffering fever as well."

Jinja, Uganda

No one can estimate with accuracy the numbers who perished during Edi Amin's dictatorship and the subsequent civil wars, famines and tribal killings; estimates very from 800,000 to 2,000,000. The AIDS epidemic is one of Uganda's greatest enemies, and the long-term effects on the population are likely to be devastating.
The AIDS disaster is of such magnitude that the breakdown of economic life and society is threatened. Much of the economically active population could be wiped out. Uganda has the highest known incidence of this terrible disease of any nation in the world. It is estimated that war created 800,000 orphans, but now AIDS could create many more. Only a spiritual transformation can reverse present trends. Pray for this.
Under Amin there were restrictions and intense persecution of Christians. For a time the Muslim minority was favored. There is now freedom of religion. Most of the population claims to be Christian, but the continuation of polygamy and widespread promiscuity belies this claim. Pray for evangelism and discipleship to have high priority in the churches.
The church in Kinja was established in 1963. Several people were saved but the work was banned in 1973 with the dictatorship of Amin. Most of the flock ran away. In 1981 a new government was formed and with it came religious freedom. The work was established and has been flourishing since. At the time the present pastor came to Jinja there were two believers. The church has now grown to over sixty. He lives seven miles from the church and walks there every day.
They have erected the walls of a 50' x 25' brick building. They are praying and trusting God for the finances needed to put a permanent roof on the building. We want to do what we can to see that their prayers are answered.

Colonial San Nicolas, Hildago, Mexico

Warmest Christian Greetings from the beautiful and spiritually hungry land of Mexico in the dear and most precious Name of Jesus, the Lord of our lives and the Lord of the Mexican Harvest!!! All praise to Him for all that He is doing in this nation of perhaps 104 million souls...a land that has lived in darkness for so many centuries. It thrills my heart to see Light shining where Satan has ruled for generations without a challenge. Mexico is a land of contrast where so many different life styles are present...Some of the dear Indians have not had much of a change for hundreds of years...that is until the Gospel arrived and now they are rejoicing with a purpose in life hithero unknown. Hallelujah!!!
I rejoice to be able to send you a beautiful color picture of your church at Col. San Nicolas, Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico. They have installed a concrete and steel roof that will last them for many years...they still lack the windows, doors and floor, but little by little, they will finish the building...the main battle, that of the roof, has been won thanks to you. It wasn't possible to get all of the believers together for this picture...less present for the final picture than for the application as many work away from home, but at least you can see that the investment was a good one. They were meeting inside the walls under a tarp for quite some time as one of the pictures I am sending you show before the roofing.
They have won three souls to the Lord and preparing them for water baptism. They are also evangelizing the area and soon expect to fill this new building with hungry people searching for the reason for life. This colony is very full of idolatry and only the Gospel can break that bondage, and it will. Darkness can only reign until Light arrives.
Please accept the heart-felt thanks of the pastor and congregation for your love gift to them in their hour of need. They are praying for you and I know that God has already blessed you for having shared. Do pray with us for more sponsors as the opportunities have never been so abundant.

Maimanan, Chad

The Republic of Chad is a landlocked country located in Central Africa, between Libya and the Central African Republic. It covers an area of 495,755 square miles (slightly more than three times the size of California) and shares borders with Cameroon, Central African Republic, Libya, Niger, Nigeria and Sudan. It has a population of approximately 7 million people.
The climate, geographic location, and lack of infrastructure and natural resources make Chad one of the most underdeveloped countries in the world. Its economy is burdened by the ravages of civil war, conflict with Libya, drought, and food shortages.
Chad is highly dependent on foreign aid, with its economy is troubled and many regions suffering from shortages. It has no railroad and less than a hundred kilometers of paved road. It remains one of the world's poorest countries.
In 1984, the civil war in Chad caused all the people in the village to flee across the border and take refuge in the Republic of Central Africa (CAR). A few years passed then some of the believers returned to their homeland.
The church in Maimanan was created in 1982 after a great evangelistic crusade was held by men of God from the town of Sarh. It is a hard village full of witchcraft and evil spirits. Over the years many servants of God went there, but little was accomplished. But we believe the time of God has come, and when dedicated Christians give their lives to intercession and prayer, things begin to happen in the Spirit and souls are drawn to Christ.
There is a great wind of the Spirit of God blowing in the village and many people have been delivered of evil spirits and healed by the power of God. The congregation has grown to more than 200 believers who have worked hard to build up the walls of a 26' x 65' brick chapel. They are determined to complete the new building but they desperately need financial help to purchase the roofing materials. When it is completed they will have a sanctuary that will protect them from the hot sun, dust, rain and other outside elements.

Konkori Atwina Bosomtwe, Ghana

Formerly known as the "Gold Coast", the Republic of Ghana covers 92,100 square miles and is located in the western part of Africa. It shares borders with Togo, Burkina Faso and the Ivory Coast and has a population of about 18 million people. It is slightly smaller than the state of Oregon. The terrain is mostly low plains with dissected plateau in the south central area. The climate is mostly tropical; warm and comparatively dry along the southeast coast; hot and humid in the southwest; hot and dry in the north.
The present spiritual upsurge in Ghana is in answer to prayer and sacrificial service. Numerous evangelical, charismatic and Pentecostal groups and fellowships have sprung up all over the south. In some of these denominations there has been rapid growth creating a great need for church buildings.
The Pentecostal Church in Konkori is a new work that began in 2002 with forty believers. The brethren were full of the zeal of the Lord and began having home cell evangelization groups. At the end of the 2nd quarter 88 souls had been won to Christ. The strategy is to cater to all manner of people in the area, and 3 separate prayer meetings per day was organized which yielded fruitful results. The church has increased its membership to 170.
In July 2003, by faith they began to construct a new church building which measures 55' x 100' which provides room for growth. The church has started three branch ministries in the surrounding areas.
This dedicated group of believers has been faithful to God's call, and they are trusting Him for the finances to roof and complete their new place of worship.

Pentecostal Holy Church of Ghana Twinurase Assembly

The Pentecostal Holy Church of Ghana has its roots from The Assembly of God.
Founded by the late Bishop E. D. Tchie the man who spearheaded the Assembly of God in the Ashanti Region of Ghana in the 50's. He broke away from the Assembly of God and founded the Pentecostal Holy Church in the year 1954.
He was used by the Lord mightily in various parts of the Ashanti Region and planted many churches especially in the rural areas.
Twinurase in the Atwinma Kwanwoma District of Ashanti was one of the churches planted by the founder in 1970.
In 1972, the Twinurase church had a membership of twenty-five. As a community of predominantly peasant farmers, the financial position of the church is woefully inadequate.
Right now the church has a membership of about 105 people and the old church building which could contain only 50 people posed great ventilation problem during meeting times.
By and large, the little contributions from the members since 1990, has enabled them to put up a structure up to roofing level. However, with the high cost of building materials in Ghana, the building project has become standstill for the past tow and half years.
Twinurase has a total population of abut 3,000 and is about 30 kilometers (20 miles) from the Regional Capital of Ashanti - Kumasi. Geographically, it is within the rainforest belt and has an average temperature of about 30 degrees centigrade, (90 F).
The Twinurase church has a vision of reaching the entire community with a membership target of 500 for the next five years.
We are optimistic that your help in the form of roofing materials to complete the said building project will help attract some community members and also send encouragement and relief to the church members.
Right now the church is being overseen by one elder Agyemang Badu and is under the Kumasi-Amakom District of the Pentecostal Holy Church.

Utegi Tarime Minigo, Tanzania

Minigo village is located near the shore of lake Victoria. It is bordered on the east by Kyariko and Ryagati villages, the west by lake Victoria and partly by Manyanyi village. On the north it is bordered by Mkoma village and on the south by Ryagati village.
The total population of the village is above four thousand. There are several tribes that can be found namely, Luo, Sukuma, and Ricri (Buriciri).
Residents of Minigo are farmers, cattle rearers, or fishermen. Most of the time there is little rain, thus hindering farming and cattle rearing. Although they live near the lake Victoria, they are unable to irrigate their farms due to lack of irrigation facilities.
The church was started in 1964 by Tobia Alego with the signs and wonders, healings and deliverance services that have been held. The church has grown and God is still doing wonderful things in the village and in the church.
The church was started with less than ten followers who were worshiping under the tree. After Tobia Alego left the church, Rev. Christian Owaga picked on until his death. In 2002, under the leadership of Pastor Daudi Aseno, who held door to door evangelism and brought up great revival in the church, church members started to make bricks and burned them. The construction of the foundation and the wall completed in early 2003. The church building is 50 feet long and 25 feet wide.
The church members had tried their best by using their own money and strength but failed to build roof. So, we really appreciate your kindness and support in order to accomplish the work of God in this place.

Kayao, Bazega, Burkina Faso, West Africa

Kayao is a village located in the province of Bazega, a province well known for its idolatry.
The traditional leadership is strongly implanted and the customs are rigorously respected. The lion is the venerated animal. The village has about 5,620 inhabitants who live from agriculture. With the introduction of the gospel, a big change has been operated at the spiritual level; some practices as the summary executions with clubs disappeared.
It was in 1982 that the village received the gospel. During this first evangelization, only one soul accepted the Lord. Thereafter, whereas the number of Christians was increasing, the chief of the village gave his authorization to the Christians to construct a shed for the meetings. It is in 1989, that the first pastor was affiliated in this church. Today the church counts close to 150 members. It is a church that lives in prayer and evangelism: on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, the believers meet to share the Word of God; fasting and prayer.

Adiembra, Ghana

On behalf of the entire congregation, the pastor and his elders, I write to thank you for being a gracious donor. I want to let you know that their deep and heartfelt appreciation is great.
There are a lot of outstanding things which have happened in the entire congregation and the town. Since the application, the entire church embarked on house to house evangelism. The good news is that there are a lot of testimonies of people willing to come to the church after roofing. They were amazed to see the building roofing. Since the two newly branches were opened those coming to the central has stayed in the newly opened churches. Though the number of the active members is 60, yet we had at least 40 to 50 members attending church every Sunday. We are anticipating that after roofing more will be added into the church whilst house to house evangelism is going on. The evangelism team confirmed that many outstanding miracles of healing took place during the house to house campaign.
As soon as the wood was purchased, the members of the church helped the carpenter to put the woods on the building which is now ready for iron sheets.
Adiembra is situated on the northern by-pass road from Sekondi to Takoradi and is 2 miles west of Sekondi the Western Regional Capital. The population of the town is 5,300 and 85% are Christians, 10% are Muslim and 5% are Traditionalist.
Thank you very much for your great support.

San Jeronimo, Tulilja, Mexico

It is a pleasure to send you a beautiful color picture of your roofed church as San Jeronimo Tulilja Chilon, Chiapas, Mexico...and they have won 5 new souls to the Lord, and are preparing them for water baptism. One person has been baptized in the Holy Spirit. God is blessing the work, and we give Him praise for His power in saving the lost, and healing the sick. One person has been healed, when he fell out of a tree and the doctors could not help him.
They still lack the windows, doors and floors, but they will install them when they are able, but since it is so hot there, they are using the building as it is. They are evangelizing the area and soon hope to have a new mission.
Never in all my 60 years in Mexico have I seen such a hunger for God. I do know for a fact, that after directing the Native Church Program in Mexico since its inception, we have never had such a demand for help to roof the new churches as now, we are being flooded with new applications. Please pray with us for additional sponsors. It still takes so very little as compared to the US to roof a building in this land. All they ask for is a permanent roof over their heads, and a place to preach and teach His Word.
Light is shining where darkness has prevailed for many generations. Thanks be unto God!!! This is Mexico's finest hour, and many new congregations are being formed all over Mexico. However, in Latin America, one million souls are coming to Christ every seven weeks, and in Red China, a million find our Lord every 30 days. It is harvest time in all of the world. Hallelujah!!!
Please accept the sincere thanks of the pastor and congregation for your expression of love toward them in their hour of need. They are praying for you, and we know that God has already blessed you richly. It is because of sponsors such as you that we have had the privilege of helping more than 5,000 congregations with the materials to roof their new buildings. I refer to those that you and others have helped us roof here in Mexico.

Namcholi, Blantyre District, Malawi

Namcholi Congregation of Nyasa Evangelical Revival Church was started six years ago by five church elders with 50 people. They were meeting in one of the church elders' house.
After six months, they asked a village head for a place to meet in an open air. The Chief whose name is Chiyimile granted them a place. By that time they had no pastor. In 2002, their church headquarters gave them Rev. Kamwendo who pastored for two years. In 2003, Pastor Kamwendo was transferred to another congregation, and the Headquarters sent them another pastor, Pastor Justen Marko Phini.
Pastor Marko Phini graduated from Zambezi College of Ministry in 1999. He is born again pastor and full of God's Spirit.
The church is located at the Suburb of Namcholi in the District of Blantyre. The community make some of their living by running small business, working and farming. Their products are maize, beans, cassava and sweet potatoes.
The Christians of Nancholi congregations are very spiritual and active. They hold evangelistic revival meetings. The church now has the membership of 150 Christians.
In June, the church organized revival meetings in which 20 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and 10 men and women were baptized.
The vision of the church in the future is to plant prayer houses around the area. Every Friday, Christians meet for five hour prayers.
In the area, there are other religions like Muslims, African Tradition Religion, and also satanic practices.

Kesenakurrupalem, Andhra Pradesh, India

The village Kesenakurrupalem is situated in the East Godavari District in the Amalapuram Division. There are about seven thousand families in the village. The most of the people of the village are very poor and down trodden. The church here was established about forty years ago and gone through many hardships. A property was purchased and a thatched roof was built many years ago. It is always a weak structure of the church building that causes lot of disappointment, because the thatched roof is being destroyed every year, when monsoon season starts with lot of heavy rains and winds.
The people of the congregation are low income people, who depend on daily wages, which are seasonal. The work is not available throughout the year. It might last for one or two month, once or twice a year. Therefore people do not have enough money to eat three times a day also.
There are 50 people who are born again according to John 3:3.
Though the people in village are very poor and they are daily laborers that have not enough income, they have a vision and a passion to build a strong concrete building for the glory of God. Though they live in thatched and tiled roofed houses, they wanted a good and strong concrete building, the walls up to the roof level. As a congregation in the church is very small and poor they were unable to finish the building. They have prayed and now they request your help in finishing church project.

Asokore Mampong, Ghana

The Full Gospel Baptist Church is in a rural place called Asokore Mampong near Kumasi. The town is situated abut six miles off the Kumasi Airport Road. The place is in a savanna area and the inhabitants are predominantly farmers. They produce maize and cassava.
The people [of the area] adhere to Christianity, Islam or/and Traditional Worship.
The church was started in 1957 by an American Education Missionary called Rev. W.A. Poe with an initial membership of five. Since then, the church has gone through the leadership of both missionaries and local pastors. By 1969, the membership had grown to forty. It was within that period that the plot of land on which the church is presently situated was purchased.
In the early 1980's and under the vision of the founder, a school was started with the aim of training the children in the community which has now grown to Junior High School.
The same period saw a growth to sixty baptized members. Three members of this church have gone through pastoral training and have become ministers.
The present church building project was started under the present Pastor Joseph Frimpong who came to the church in 1998. All which has been done is through fund raising within the church whose membership is now 94.
Since the beginning of 2007, the church has held two major teaching revivals and the Easter week was used for prayer and healing session within which the Lord was greatly at work.
The vision of the church is to grow to a membership of 120 before the end of this year and also put a roofing on our church building. This will help us vacate a classroom where worship is not convenient to the people.

Church vision: a community of believers where God is worshiped in truth and to release a vibrant ministry to the community around us.
John Chimuda Banda was one of the dedicated members of Mazembe Pentecostal Revival Church. Saved and nurtured in faith under the leadership of Peter Chirwa who released him and others in 1995 with the mandate to plant churches in their villages. John was sent for pastoral training at Vision Bible Training Centre in Nkhata-Bay where he graduated in 2005. He took full pastoral responsibilities after he was ordained. An encounter during a period of fasting and prayer changed his spiritual journey.
Presently his church has 160 active members and is continuing to grow. They continue to conduct house to house evangelism, run effective Bible study groups, youth ministry and they also have a daycare feeding program for orphans. Mwaya Church had secured a church plot from the chief and they have finished to the roofing level a sizeable church building. Now, they worship under few mango trees.
Mwaya village on the shores lake Malawi, in the Nkhata-Bay district, has an estimated 8,000 people.
Nkhata-Bay experiences floods due to rains between March and April each year. It becomes very hot during the summer. The staple food is porridge made from cassava flour. The Tonga people are basically fishermen and generate periodical income from fishing business, however the people are poor. They also grow maize, rice, sweet potatoes, and yams. Some find employment in established tea and coffee estates.
Scottish missionaries spread Christianity through northern Malawi. They had a great success in reaching the people who abandoned the worship of ancestral spirits. Though many today in Mwaya have a background of the Christian faith many of them do not have a personal relationship with the Savior. They think they are Christians by being born in the family of church goers.
